The monitoring scope

More context. Less guesswork.

Monitor verified domains on your plan’s schedule. Approve a baseline, review confirmed changes, and opt in to email alerts and weekly digests.

01

Indexability signals

Watch for changes to meta robots, X-Robots-Tag and declared canonicals. Understand the signal without confusing it with actual search index status.

02

Status & redirects

Record response statuses and redirect destinations. A successful response can still land visitors on the wrong page.

03

Page essentials

Compare page titles, headings and descriptions with an approved baseline. Expected editorial changes should be easy to approve.

04

SSL & crawl files

Check certificate expiry and robots.txt or sitemap availability. A reachable sitemap does not prove that a search engine processed it.

Included in monitoring

The check is only the beginning.

The incident workflow includes approved baselines, before/after evidence, severity, confirmation checks and notification preferences. Acknowledge an incident to track investigation; only a confirming scan can establish recovery.

What this cannot tell you

A check cannot guarantee Google indexing, diagnose every JavaScript-rendered page, or prove lost traffic. Browser rendering, automated repairs and ranking predictions are outside the initial scope.
